ATG Technology Architect - Rhode Island

ATG TECHNOLOGY ARCHITECT wanted for a client based in Rhode Island. This will be a contract position so please get in touch for the finer details.

As an ATG Architect you will be involved in developing the design on an application, providing support and guidance to project teams on complex coding, issue resolution and execution.

Additionally, you will be collaborating with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solutions, participate in Sales and various pursuits focused on the clients' business needs.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

- 7 years' experience with ATG (Commerce, Merchandising, Content Management, Commerce Service Center)

DESIRED SKILLS:

- 7 years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks
- 7 years' experience in Struts, Spring, Hibernate, etc. and J2EE technologies like JSP, Servlets, JMS, JMX, JDBC, JBoss, WebSphere, Weblogic, Apache
- 5 years of experience in project execution
- Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural stand point
- Analytical skills
- 5 years of experience in thought leadership, white papers and leadership/mentoring of staff and internal consulting teams
- Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel
- Solutionize design, development and roll out of ATG based E-commerce solutions
- Performance Tuning of ATG Applications
- Evaluate and anticipate the impact of technical solutions on related projects
- Ability to think strategically and drive development strategies and tactics that produce faster turnaround on features and also world class performance
