ATG Solution Architect

My client in Moscow is seeking an ATG Solution Architect to join for an initial 3-6 months period, with a view to extending thereafter. Russian language skills are a big plus but aren't essential as it is an English speaking team, however, the legal riught to work in Russia is essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

*Lead assessment of business and technology requirements in order to create solution architecture.
*Lead technical designs by working closely with tech lead and consulting engineers.
*Act as trusted advisor to customer and partners on all matters of architecture, technology, and software development projects.
*Collaborate with project manager and tech lead to create project plan.
*Collaborate with the tech lead to ensure that the architectural vision is realized in the technical specifications and code created.
*Provide technical leadership to developers throughout entire project life cycle; review technical design documents and conduct code reviews.

Essential Skills, Education and Work Experience

*Experience leading software development teams; experience as a project manager is a must.
*Extremely experienced customizing one or more of the ATG products, including ATG Commerce, ATG Knowledge, ATG CSC, and ATG Search.
*Extensive experience with the following Application Servers, JBOSS, WebLogic; DAS a plus.
*Experience with WebServers (Apache) is a must; mod_proxy, mod ssl is a plus.
*Experience developing on multiple OSes (Linux, Unix, Windows).
*Exceptional Database experience, Oracle MSSQL, MySQL. Experience as a DBA is a plus.
*UI Development (HTML, CSS, AJAX, Javascript, Actionscript) is a must.
*Server Side development (Java/J2SE) is a must have.
*Experience in writing web services (publishing or consuming).
*Familiarity writing XML/XSL/XSD.
