Bank of America Merrill Lynch based in Chester are currently seeking an Associate Vendor Manager to join their International Staffing Operations division.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch EMEA footprint compromises of 32 cities across 23 countries on three continents. The Company is a long-established participant in the EU markets, with a presence since 1922. Currently over 14,000 associates are based in EMEA.

Currently International Staffing Operations supports all international teams (EMEA, Canada, APAC, LATAM with the most appropriate tools, processes, vendor solutions, data and risk framework; enabling the Staffing teams to acquire the best talent for the business in the most efficient and effective manner.

This role is based on Chester Business Park with no expectation for travel outside of the UK. There may be a limited requirement for travel between the two main UK sites.

Key Skills required for an Associate Vendor Manager:

*Demonstrable experience of working with 3rd party suppliers/vendors
*Owning end to end requirements/deliverables with examples of success
*Excellent communication/stakeholder skills
*Experience of continuously improving service levels
*Proficient on Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
*Knowledge of the high volume Global Staffing/Resourcing models

Responsibilities of an Associate Vendor Manager:

*Ownership of all Low Risk vendor deliverables currently utilised by Staffing.
*Ensuring Vendors are compliant to the global vendor management program deliverables and managing vendor risk.
*Supporting Vendor Managers in the 3rd party suppliers/vendors
*Work with internal functions to ensure that vendors are managed appropriately; risks are identified and mitigated to reduce or eliminate risk.
*Take ownership of the invoicing process across EMEA regions to ensure correct validation.
*Support Vendor Managers with ad0hoc requests (expense management and corporate travel bookings).
