Associate Systems Engineer

EMEA Proof of Concept team helps sales teams win opportunities and accelerate revenue by providing testing expertise on each Juniper product line. POC team maintains lab environment in Amsterdam to run POC tests and provide demonstrations for visiting or remote clients.

Team member of Proof of Concept team, the candidate will work directly with Juniper Networks pre-sales engineers. Enabling tests and fix demonstration of features and performance of all Juniper Network solutions.

He/she will be responsible to provide day-to-day maintenance, management, organization and support for the different lab facilities and testing activities.

Additional responsibilities:

- Ensure lab assets inventory and processes.
- Install and integrate new Juniper and others vendor equipment in the lab network.
- Guarantee lab is kept in a professional state as well as the maintenance, administration and security of the hardware.
- Administrate lab environment. (Servers, DNS, databases, backups, access control).
- Build up and document physical layout and standard configuration for test topologies and fixed demonstrations.
- Verify corporate standards applied in EMEA.

Required skills & experience:

The candidate must be methodical, systematic, self-motivating and be willing to learn new technology and tools in a highly dynamic and fast paced environment. He or she must also be a strong team player and possess strong written and verbal communication skills (English).

- Networking skills required (understand IP, networking protocols).
- Computer skills required (OS installation, Windows, Linux, server virtualization).
- Office and messaging software.
- Good appreciation of end-user requirements.
- Methodical and orderly, with attention to detail.
- Willing to work in a fast paced environment.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to carry all tasks to completion in a thorough and timely manner.
