Associate Scientist - Zuid-Holland (South Holland Province), Netherlands

Qualifications, Education, Skills & Experience:
Masters degree or Bachelor degree with equivalent experience in Biotechnology, Bioprocess Engineering, Biochemistry, Biochemical engineering or related field
Experience in working within a cGMP manufacturing plant/pilot plant environment.
Strong technical orientation and in-depth understanding of API large molecule manufacturing
Analytical and innovative thinker with good problem solving skills
Highly results driven, with focus on customer satisfaction and on-time completion of projects.
Familiarity with Process Excellence and Six Sigma techniques is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal & collaborative skills with an ability to operate as part of a team in highly inter-dependent environment is critical
Attention to detail
Adaptable and flexible, open to accept practical as well as theoretical assignments

Department:
Participates in high calibre multi-functional teams to drive technology transfer, and process validation efforts for a new to be implemented monoclonal antibody process. Projects will often be high priority with high level interest and attention.

Responsibilities evaluates results and prepares technical reports to document outcomes.
Participates in tech transfer teams to identify, develop and implement the required process, practical as well as theoretical
Self reliant, able to work well within multidisciplinary teams, flexibility and positive attitude.
