Associate Scientist Job

ASSOCIATE SCIENTIST needed for a CONTRACT position with Yoh's client located in GAITHERSBURG, MD.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- HPLC experiencealong with a fundamental understanding of basic concepts of chemistry and protein biochemistry used formulation development.
- The candidate will perform laboratory experiments to develop formulations for early and late stage biologics.
- The candidate is expected to keep accurate lab notebooks and to analyze and report findings from numerous studies in a timely manner.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS or MS in chemistry, biochemistry, Biochemical/Pharmaceutical/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering with one to five (1-5) years of experience is preferred. However, candidates with other backgrounds will also be considered.
- Position requires a thorough understanding of scientific methods and protein biochemistry and analytical characterization techniques.
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills are also required.
- Candidate will be expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously, appropriately prioritize their work, and work with often changing timelines.
- Experience with protein formulation and analytical biochemistry techniques are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills, along with outstanding verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- The desire and ability to thrive in an interdisciplinary, fast-paced team environment is an integral part of this position.
- Seeking an individual who is highly detail oriented, diligent, and careful in observation and work.
