Associate Scientist Job

ASSOCIATE SCIENTIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Diego, CA.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- LC-MS/MS
- Sample preparation
- Small molecules

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Highly motivated Scientist to conduct bio-analytical work to measure small molecules in different biological matrices.
- This work will involve sample extraction from biological matrices from in vitro and in vivo studies and quantitative analysis using LC-MS/MS quantitative analysis of small molecules in support of multiple drug discovery projects.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS degree with six (6) years of industrial research experience or MS degree with four (4) years industrial research experience.
- The ability to independently operate a triple-quad LC-MS/MS for quantification purposes is required, no exceptions.
- The individual will be proficient in sample preparation, LC-MS/MS operations for quantification of small molecules in biological matrices, and data processing using various software.
- This individual is also expected to be highly organized, a team player, enthusiastic about drug discovery, and a strong communicator with strong work ethics.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- The experience in the use of Phoenix (Win-Non-Lin) software, conduct of in vitro studies (such as metabolic, Caco-2, and protein binding studies), and carrying out metabolite identification studies is a plus.
