Associate Scientist Job

ASSOCIATE SCIENTIST needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Berkeley, CA.

- HPLC
- Masters Degree
- knowledge in biochemistry

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The person in this position will play a role in the Formulation Department in Global Biological Development.
- He/she will participate in the development of protein formulation, freeze-drying process, testing samples by HPLC, fluorescence spectroscopy and by other biophysical characterization methods.
- An ideal candidate will be one who has hands-on experience in formulation development, buffer preparation, and analytical assays.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Specifically, the ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Have a Master degree in biochemistry, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or other related fields preferably with relevant industry experience.
- Prior experience in analytical testing and assay development, formulation development and stability monitoring is a plus.
- Ability to follow written protocols and oral directions to independently complete tasks and work well on multiple assigned tasks.
- Ability to conduct data analysis, write experiment protocols and reports and prepare presentations with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate with other team members and desire to be a good team-player in a project team.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Strong knowledge in biochemistry is preferred.
