Associate Scientist III Job

ASSOCIATE SCIENTIST III needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Longmont, CO.

THE BIG PICTURE:

- The successful candidate will be responsible for direct participation in the development, validation, and implementation of spectroscopic methods that are used in support of rapid testing of incoming raw materials and products, including small molecule and protein therapeutics.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- To perform experiments, organize data and analyze results under minimal supervision relating to technology evaluation and spectral library development for raw material and product testing.
- Responsibilities include performing hands-on experimentation and data analysis, and active participation in technological development as necessary to achieve overall project goals.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Master's degree & three (3) years of scientific experience OR
- Bachelor's degree & five (5) years of scientific experience

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Requirements include a B.S./M.S. in a scientific discipline and five (5) plus years experience with demonstrated technical proficiency in spectroscopic methods such as Raman, near-Infrared or similar
- Demonstrated mastery of a variety of laboratory techniques
- Troubleshooting experience in spectroscopic method development
- Ability to communicate ideas and concepts clearly (oral and written communication)
- Demonstrated good analytical and technical skills
- Ability to effectively design and implement experiments, and interpret experimental results
- Understanding of GXP guidelines and Industry Standards related to spectroscopic support of regulated studies
