Associate Scientist II Job

ASSOCIATE SCIENTIST II needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Cambridge, MA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Enzymatic assays
- Liquid handling

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Candidate Will work on medium throughput compound screening, and carry out experiments to characterize the activity of compounds.
- Analyze data using software such as Excel or GraphPad Prism.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Candidates will have a B.S. or M.S. and at least two (2) years of lab experience in an academic or industrial setting.
- Experience in plate based assays for small molecule compound screening and using liquid handlers is essential.
- Experience working with enzymatic assays or other biochemical assays is required.
- The candidate should be able to work under limited supervision, be team-oriented and collaborative.
- The candidate should be an effective communicator, be organized and detail-oriented.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in mammalian cell culture would be advantageous.
