Associate Scientist II Job

ASSOCIATE SCIENTIST II needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Thousand Oaks, CA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Additional duties will include tracking and documenting the performance of lab work with both computer and paper records, maintenance of laboratory instrumentation, and procurement of supplies.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provide clinical pathology support.
- The successful applicant will operate and maintain the Advia 120 hematology and Olympus AU400 clinical chemistry analyzers and have responsibility for compiling and summarizing experimental data.
- Knowledge of coagulation, urinalysis, and immunoassays is advantageous.
- Job duties will include processing and analysing research samples and assisting with lab validation.
- The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, detail oriented, able to multitask, and capable of working both independently and as part of a highly integrated team.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- A BA/BS is required along with a MT (ASCP) certification and three to seven (3-7) years of relevant experience in a clinical or research setting.
- Experience in Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, and Urinalysis is also required.
- Working knowledge of the Advia 120 and Olympus AU400 instruments is a plus.

- Computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and excellent communication (both verbal and written) and organizational skills are also required.
