Associate Scientist, Formulations & Analytics Job

ASSOCIATE SCIENTIST, FORMULATIONS & ANALYTICS needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Cambridge, MA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- We are looking for a motivated associate scientist dedicated to the formulation and characterization of vaccine formulations against infectious diseases
- Understanding of formulations for proteins and nucleic acids
- Expertise in assay development to evaluate formulations (HPLC, particle size, gel electrophoresis)
- Hands-on responsibilities will include assisting in the development of new vaccine delivery systems, assay development and supply of formulations for in vitro/vivo testing

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS or MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering or related discipline with 0-3 years of laboratory research experience
- Hands-on responsibilities will include assisting in the development of new vaccine delivery systems, assay development and supply of formulations for in vitro/vivo testing
- Expertise in Assay development to allow antigen and adjuvant stability evaluations (HPLC, SEC, WB, Gels, Experion, etc.)
- An understanding of formulation procedures and protocols and experience in formulation preparation and characterization is required
- Ability to design experiments and interpret data is required
- Able to work independently and take scientific direction from senior scientists
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are required

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with biologics is desired
