For our Life Science client in Basel, we are seeking an Associate Scientist
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 15th December 2016
Location: Basel
Language: English + Good German
Your Role:
Working in the area of Integrated Biologics Profiling, you will be evaluating new therapeutic proteins at the stage of transition from research to development. You will be working as part of Cell Line Development, performing the production of antibodies and other recombinant proteins working at a scale of 400ml - 200l. You will apply several production principles and will be working in a sterile, endotoxin-free environment. While ensuring to delivery tasks in a timely manager, working with high quality proteins, you will assess candidate molecules and pre-clinical research activities. You will be responsible for the initiation of in-process analytics on your products and also for the monitoring of results.
Your Experience:
- BS in Engineering, biotechnology, biology, chemistry or Lab Technician qualification
- 2+ years professional experience
- Experience working with mammalian cell culture at different scales
- Technical knowledge working with disposable cell culture systems
- Good German, Fluency English
- Independent and team worker
- Strong documentation skills
