Associate Scientist wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Technical BSc Degree, Msc Degree is preferred
- 3+ years' working experience as Technician with promotional Pathway
- Ability to handle chemicals, potentially dangerous materials and equipment safely
- Adequate scientific or technical know-how in a specific area such as synthetic, analytical and galenical
- Basic knowledge in scientific/technical areas of collaboration as well as solid background in laboratory and technical and software and computer tools
- Languages: fluent German both written and spoken, adequate knowledge of English both written and spoken
YOUR TASKS:
- Performing scientific experiments for preparation and timely delivery of drug substances, drug products, processes and procedures
- Providing documentation of raw data, evaluation and contribute to interpretation of results as well as optimizing existing lab or plant methods
- Supporting the transfer of analytical or manufacturing procedures to pilot plant or production, including process steering controls
- Conducting safety and literature searches under direction of relevant and experienced team members as well as keeping record of chemicals and excipients
- Contributing to maintenance of lab instruments and infrastructure and ensuring that allow activities are aligned with overall drug development processes and are according to guidelines
