Associate Scientist wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- B.Sc. in a relevant life science discipline, preferably Biotechnology, or Laboratory technician
- Working experience in protein analytics, ideally also in the field of particle characterization, such as Flow Imaging, Dynamic and Static Light Scattering, Light Microscopy and Light Obscuration
- Qualification in critical and objective interpretation of results and scientific information
- Good organizational and communication skills along with know-how of MS Office software, programming skills eg in R are a plus
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
YOUR TASKS:
- Being responsible for several interfaces, such as formulation and process development and physico-chemical analytics
- Planning and performing routine analyses as well as evaluating and documenting the results
- Ensuring maintenance of lab equipment
- Providing analytical support for biopharmaceutical protein development projects
