Associate Scientist wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- University degree, apprenticeship or equivalent in biology or biochemistry
- Background in cell biology
- Hands-on experience with FACS and cell-based assays
- Familiarity with BL-2 products is desirable
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German is advantageous
YOUR TASKS:
- Analyzing and characterizing the cell and gene therapy products in early phase clinical development
- Being part of a bioanalytical group within biologics technical development
- Executing of methods for the determination of biological activity (potency) and purity, as well as evaluating and documenting data
- Handling various cell culture methods and read out technologies, such as FACS, cell-based assays, ELISA and qPCR
- Ensuring technical organization of a laboratory, reporting to the laboratory head
