We are recruiting for an associate Analytical Scientist to perform physical/chemical experiments for Quality Control of new biotech drug substances (DS) and drug products (DP) in development, in a cGMP environment.
Major Accountabilities:
- Performing and documenting of physical/chemical experiments (including pH, HPLC or CE, UV) in a cGMP environment.
- Providing raw data, interpretation of results.
- Address simple problem.
- Recognize and communicate complex problems.
- Inform and support on deviations and unexpected results.
- Maintain stock of consumables and samples.
- Archive batch records.
Requirements:
1. Good knowledge of cGMP.
2. Good organization and good communication is a must.
3. Minimum of 2 years GMP lab experience.
4. Good technical knowledge in analytical separation.
5. Good knowledge of laboratory and/or technical tools.
6. Adequate knowledge of software and computer tools.
Language skills:
Good understanding of English (oral and written) is essential. Basic German understanding.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A JUNIOR POSITION FOR SOMEONE WITH A GOOD SET OF INTERSHIPS/COUPLE OF YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN A CGMP ENVIRONMENT. PHDS WILL BE CONSIDERED TOO SENIOR FOR THIS ROLE. THIS IS A 6 MONTHS CONTRACT, STARTING IN DECEMBER, WITH A FURTHER POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION DEPENDENT ON PERSONAL PERFORMANCE AND BUDGET AVAILABILITY. CANDIDATES MUST HAVE A VALID SWISS WORK PERMIT OR BE ABLE TO ACQUIRE THIS PERMIT WITHOUT THE NEED OF SPONSORSHIP.
