Associate Scientist

Associate Scientist with profound cGMP knowledge wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- 3+ years' experience as Lab Technician or 1-4 years for BS
- Solid knowledge of cGMP
- Adequate scientific or technical knowledge in a specific area (eg cell-based bioassays, cell culture, ELISA and Q-PCR)
- Awareness for safe handling of chemicals, potentially dangerous materials and equipment
- Good knowledge of standard laboratory and/or technical tools
- Sufficient knowledge of software and computer tools as well as basic presentation skills
- Languages: fluent German both written and spoken, good English skills are an asset

YOUR TASKS:

- Planning, performing and documenting bioanalytical experiments (ie cell-based bioassays, ELISA and Q-PCR) in a cGMP environment
- Validating and transferring analytical test methods
- Allocating raw data and interpreting results
- Recognizing and communicating complex problems, escalating deviations and unexpected results
- Collaborating with other associates, facilitating efficient performance of planned analyses within the team
- Scheduling and performing routine maintenance of instruments/equipment
