Harvey Nash is looking for an Associate Scientist for a 7 + month project in Switzerland.
The role is for a candidate to perform production of antibodies and other recombinant proteins in the scale of 400ml until 200L including cell removal step.
You are responsible for
. applying different production principles on shaking flask or wave equipment and you know how to work sterile and endotoxin-free
. timely delivery of high quality protein to enable a predictive assessment of candidate molecules and pre-clinical research activities
. In-process analytics on your products and monitor the results
Requirements
. Laboratory technician (BTA, CTA, Laborant), engineering degree in biotechnology, biology or chemistry, BS, preferably with up to two years of professional experience
. Profound experience in working with mammalian cell culture in different scales and good technical knowledge in working with disposable cell culture systems eg shaking flasks and waves
. Good command of German is essential, knowledge of English would be an advantage
. High scientific interest and a good technical understanding
. Clear and accurate work documentation
