Associate Process Engineer

Yoh has a long term contract opportunity for an ASSOCIATE PROCESS ENGINEER to join our client, a world leader in the pharmaceutical industry, located in EMERYVILLE, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with projects involving manufacturing, process development and process engineering groups within Dx Tech Ops.
- Support the design, implementation, commissioning, qualification and operation of laboratory and small scale manufacturing unit operations to meet project goals.
- Support projects to improve process reliability and robustness and to improve process yields.
- Record and collate study data, maintain process records, perform statistical evaluations of data.
- Understand "GXP" requirements for operations which support Dx manufacturing. Write and train other associates on operational procedures or analytical methods.
- Support all equipment life cycle activities (implementation through decommissioning) for new and existing "GXP" equipment.
- Understand requirements of equipment life cycle for manufacturing and laboratory equipment.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven success and demonstrated leadership ability within a previous academic and/or industry experience.
- Ability to train others on new procedures.
