Associate, Meter Operations

The Associate, Meter Operations is responsible for providing analysis of electric meter loads to ensure proper compliance with regulatory requirements of Demand Response programs, ensuring electric meter loads are consistently reporting into company data systems (vWatt, DRIP, CPC), and performing first tier troubleshooting on faulty meters in the field including directly interacting with customer engineers and senior building managers.

- Perform data validation calculations to ensure meters are reporting within high tolerance requirements set by the Demand Response program originators
- Perform validation, estimation, and editing (VEE) to ensure the data we are providing to the ISOs is healthy
- Compile statistical analyses of meters to report to senior management
- Monitor individual customer electric loads to ensure sufficient load is available to consistently execute on Demand Response programs
- Identify and troubleshoot faulty meter and initiate remedies to bring meters back into compliance

SKILLS:

- In-depth understanding of business principles and practices
- Detailed knowledge of meters and communication delivery structures
- Knowledge of DR regulatory requirements
- Bachelors degree in a technical discipline or 3-5 years related experience within the Demand Response field is required.
- Ability to take initiative and follow through to completion.
- Possess a high degree of organization and attention to detail
- Must possess an upbeat and positive attitude.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate professionally with both internal and external customers
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
