Associate Manufacturing Technical Specialist Job

ASSOCIATE MANUFACTURING TECHNICAL SPECIALIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in OCEANSIDE, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- One to three (1-3) years of related experience
- S. Degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following areas: Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biological Systems, Biochemical/Chemical Engineering, or Molecular Biology

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING:

- Lab scale and pilot scale chromatography purification
- Lab scale and pilot scale UF/DF
- Analytical HPLC assays (Titer, SEC, IEC)
- Aliquot, maintain and ship samples to laboratories within the Roche network
- Buffer preparation
- Chromatography column packing
- Data analysis and report preparation
- Organize sample requests for manufacturing process validation

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Strong familiarity with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required.
- The applicant will be working in a laboratory environment and using a variety of chemicals.
- Basic laboratory skills, including pipetting, wet/dry measurement and safety are also required.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Basic understanding chromatography and general laboratory skills is a plus
- Previous work experience in chromatography, column packing and buffer preparation is preferred
