MY DUTIES:

- Contribute to scientific projects related to the pharmaceutical development of biologics parenteral formulations with focus on formulation and process development
- Planning, execution and evaluation of formulation and process development activities together with the pharmaceutical project leader 
- Manufacturing of formulation and process development samples at lab and pilot scale, incl. preparation of primary packaging and instruments, UFDF
- Performing physico-chemical samples analysis of parenteral dosage forms in the frame of formulation and process development in agreement with the Scientist/ pharmaceutical project leader 
- Documentation of development work according to the relevant guidance and internal processes, incl. ensuring data integrity (e.g. eLN, batch protocols, study protocols, Virtual Product Home)
- Evaluation and implementation of new methods and technologies

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- BSc/MSc in a life science discipline (e.g. biology, biotechnology, pharmacy, chemistry or equivalent) or completed vocational training as a Chemical or Biological Laboratory Technician, Pharmaceutical Technical Assistant, Chemical Technical Assistant, Biological Technical Assistant or equivalent
- Proven professional experience in formulation and/or process development of  Liquid parenteral drug products of protein biologics
- Experience with physico-chemical analysis of parenteral formulations, including visual inspection, light obscuration, opalescence and clarity, color, pH, IEC, SE
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing of formulation and process development samples is a plus
- Experience in reporting, interpretation and documentation of scientific results
- Good oral and written communication skills in German and English
- Good organization and planning skills
- Proven ability to work independently and proactively
- Good IT skills (including word processing (MS Word/gDoc) and spreadsheets (MS Excel/gSheet)
