Associate Global Medical Information Specialist Job

ASSOCIATE GLOBAL MEDICAL INFORMATION SPECIALIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in South San Francisco, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Work with manager and potentially others in developing and executing the Medical Information strategy and annual plans for assigned therapeutic area/products and/or cross-portfolio activities
- Manage feedback from the Global Standard Response Database Group for global standard responses (GSRs) on assigned therapeutic area/products to ensure completeness and timeliness of information used to respond to medical information enquiries globally; including assignment of authors for GSRs and authoring GSRs as needed
- Resolve medical information enquiries escalated from second-level support in the affiliates Collect and report Medical Information metrics for assigned therapeutic area/products and/or for cross-portfolio areas of responsibility
- Ensure the quality and scientific accuracy of GSRs and that these follow established content guidelines for evidence- based medicine As assigned, support development and implementation of best practices, minimum standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), business processes and training materials for Medical Information Support affiliates in preparing for audits and inspection readiness
- Ensure activities are carried out in full compliance with internal SOPs, industry guidelines, governing laws and regulations As assigned, support development of communications and training materials for use in Global Medical Information and conduct training sessions

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Clinical, life sciences, or health care degree (BA, BS, RN); advanced degree is preferred (eg PharmD, RPh, PhD, MD) Experience (1-2) years within the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry, preferably with experience in medical information
- Two (2) or more years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry
- Previous medical information/medical communications experience is preferred
