Associate Engineer

Support daily operations as a manufacturing engineer in a manufacturing or assembly environment

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Reading and interpreting quality specifications
- Analyzing and interpreting blue prints
- Creating and maintaining work standards
- Processing and implementing engineering changes
- Coordinate plans and execute activities that impact safety, quality, velocity & cost
- Create and manage work orders and deviations
- Develop logistics plans for material delivery
- Develop capital forecasts and write capital projects
- Write purchase orders for equipment and tooling.

SKILLS:

REQUIRED:

- 4 year Degree - technology, engineering or a related field
- Work in Concurrent Product and Process Design (CPPD)
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret blue prints
- Basic AutoCAD and ProE/Creo or Solid Works software proficiency
- Should have a strong understanding of manufacturing.
- Should have thorough knowledge of lean manufacturing processes and principles.

HIGHLY DESIRED:

- Project leadership experience and project management skills
- Self-starter, accountable for ones action, and customer driven with strong teamwork, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
