Associate Director of Marketing/ Global Emerging Brands - Cambridge

As a growing biotech specialising in Auto-Immune disease my client is looking for a Associate Director of Global Marketing to develop their emerging brands and to play a major part in the clinical part of product development.

The candidate will also play an important strategic role in defining launch and market access strategies for late-stage assets through the building of relationships through co-promotion marketing partnerships.

Responsibilities:

? Represent the Commercial organization as a critical member of clinical-stage Product Development Teams .
? Shape commercial strategy for the pipeline products including development of target product profiles.
? Assess commercial potential of key opportunities such as lifecycle indications.
? Evaluate the market and competitive landscape; formulate key market research objectives and synthesize insights and recommendations; build and update commercial forecasts for clinical-stage products and business development opportunities.
? Improve Marketing Company readiness for launch through:
- Increasing familiarity of Marketing Companies with the late-stage portfolio, including key timelines and milestones; informing, preparing and co-ordinating companies for Marketing Company Consultations; defining processes to ensure fast and high-quality feedback to Product Development and/or Global Brand Teams (GBTs) to inform governance meetings.
- Regularly informing Marketing Companies on evolving processes for biologic commercialization; ensuring specific asset requirements are communicated and taken action on.
- Providing strategic support to enhance Marketing companies capabilities and maximize resource utilization pre-launch.
- Driving deeper understanding of the market needs in individual countries to enhance RIA assets' development and commercialization strategies.

Experience and Education:

BSc or BA required
MBA preferred
Additional scientific degree preferred

Experience with global drug development: strategic marketing and/or in-line marketing experience for prescription products.
Strong understanding of drug development processes, and of the global market access and reimbursement environment
Proven ability to solve complex questions with analytical rigor and articulate strategic recommendations to drive action

Ability to assess new commercial opportunities and strategic fit in Therapeutic Area
Proven ability to lead and influence others in a cross functional team setting (clinical, medical affairs, managed markets, research, regulatory, legal, research, project management, market research and commercial operations functions)
Excellent communication skills including experience presenting recommendations to executive audiences
