Associate Director of Financial Management

Our client, a large London based public sector organisation, are looking for an interim Associate Director of Financial Management for an on-going interim assignment.

The postholder will have an opportunity to gain experience not available elsewhere in the organisation and will have a key role to play in ensuring the Trust's Finance Department is fully prepared to provide the necessary financial information to assist the Trust Special Administrator during the next critical months of agreeing and implementing recommendations.

The Associate Director of Financial Management will lead and provide an effective and responsive financial management service to key areas within the Trust. Led by the Associate Director the financial management team will provide robust financial information to the Group. It will support the Group in managing its budget, defining efficiency savings and producing business plans to support relevant developments.

The successful candidate will have experience of working at a senior level within a challenging, complex and rapidly changing environment. You will have expert technical accounting skills and be able to work and communicate with and across a broad spectrum of individuals. You should also have proven ability to drive change and manage competing priorities.

Specifically you will:

- Be a CCAB Qualified Accountant, eg ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA
- Posses highly effective leadership, interpersonal, influencing and change management skills
- Have experience of being able to balance competing priorities and met personal and Corporate targets within a demanding workload
- Have extensive financial management experience at senior management level in a large, complex, result driven organisation.
- Experience and a detailed understanding of the delivery of financial recovery plan programmes.
- Be available to start a new role immediately
