We're OperationsInc, a Human Resources Outsourcing and Consulting firm based in Norwalk, CT. Since 2001, OperationsInc has been supporting a base of over 1,000 clients with their diverse and evolving HR needs.

A client of ours, a small specialty pharmaceutical company located in Morristown, NJ, is looking for an Associate Director of Medical Affairs to join their team. Responsibilities Include:

•Manage key scientific relationships (KSRs) with external stakeholders (e.g. key opinion leaders) within the therapeutic area.
-Foster effective and compliant working relationships and collaborations between our company and KSRs.
-Serve as the single point of contact within the company for all scientific relationships.
-Ensure alignment and effective communication of all KSR activity with internal stakeholders.

•Lead the planning and execution of scientific advisory board meetings including our President's Council.
-Leverage scientific knowledge and KSR feedback from advisory boards to identify opportunities for scientific growth.
-Streamline process and procedures for the execution of advisory boards, symposia, and medical meetings to ensure compliance and adherence to policy and key external stakeholders.

•Manage the development of medical, scientific and technical information resources within assigned therapeutic area ensuring the provision of relevant and appropriate information to external customers while meeting appropriate legal, regulatory requirements.
-Respond to unsolicited requests for scientific information regarding currently marketed products from external stakeholders (including HCPs, patients, and managed care organizations).

•Act as an internal source of therapeutic area knowledge and competitive data expertise including interpreting data and communicating their implications to maximize success.
-Maintain a high level of technical expertise through familiarity with disease and therapy area knowledge and expertise, including competitor information.
-Leverage clinical expertise to provide Medical Affairs support for internal customers, including Marketing, Sales/Sales Training, MSLs and Managed Care.

•May participate in the review and approval of promotional materials within assigned product/therapeutic area to ensure consistency of materials while meeting appropriate legal, and regulatory requirements.
