Associate Director Market Access. Our team is looking for a Associate Director of Global Market Access with strong industry knowledge and experience. Requirements: * Degree in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences, economics or statistics * Post-graduate qualification (Masters degree minimum) in a healthcare decision science: health economics, epidemiology, decision sciences, health psychology, health services research * At least 5 years of practical experience in conducting and managing HEOR studies in an international pharmaceutical industry environment or consultancy * Thorough understanding and appreciation for the commercial process and needs for prescription pharmaceutical product launches and global lifecycle management * Solid background in conducting pricing and market access studies, and developing pricing and reimbursement strategies * Working knowledge of major healthcare delivery systems across the world * Good experience of economic modelling projects, either as a modeller or project manager, especially cost-effectiveness models * Experience of patient reported outcome (PRO) projects * Practical experience of preparing health technology assessment (HTA) or pricing and reimbursement (P manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals * Good experience of working in cross-functional matrix teams. Resposiabilities: * Conduct and communicate all critical projects throughout the product life cycle to optimize market access for Eisai's products, including, but not limited to: early advisory boards, healthcare professional advisory boards, patient focus groups, early economic modeling to inform target product profiles and product development decisions, early and late stage pricing research, core value dossiers and late-stage cost-effectiveness and budget impact models. * Undertake original research and validation studies of selected Patient Reported Outcome (PRO) instruments where existing instruments are incomplete or do not yet exist. * Select and implement all HEOR endpoints [health-related quality of life (HRQoL), healthcare resource utilization (HCRU), etc.] in the drug development plan (phase II, III & IV studies). * Conduct appropriate pricing studies to understand affordability and willingness to pay, which reforms the basis of the Global Launch Teams (GLTs) recommendations on global pricing bands, launch sequence and market access strategy. * Lead the Market Access sub team of the GLTs. * Provide HEOR strategic input to key product teams (e.g. IPTs) and product documents, such as Drug Development Plans, GRASPs, and EVMS Commercialization Plans. * Present key results of HEOR studies at scientific congresses, presentation to specific customer groups, and publication in peer-reviewed and non peer-reviewed vehicles. * Foster relations with HTA agencies, HEOR professional bodies and key HEOR opinion leaders. * Plan and manage effectively project budgets and contracts with external consultancies.
