Associate Developer

Duties:

The ideal candidate will "bridge the gap" between business and technical teams. You love the challenge of solving complex intersystem problems and want to develop SaaS, SOA, web service expertise. As an Workday Integration Developer, you will bring your technical skills, ability to keep the business context in sight and roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic to a team with a positive, can-do attitude, a collaborative culture, and a passion for helping our business partners to be successful.

Qualifications:

B.A. / B.S., Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, computer science or other engineering discipline required.

IT experience in support of human resource processes such as employee data management, organizational structure management preferred

Work directly with key business and IT stakeholders to confirm requirements, consider design alternatives, facilitate discussions and seek mentoring from Sr. developers in the team

Evaluate, communicate and coordinate the technical impacts of application configuration decisions.

Will be trained on creation of detailed technical system interface specifications, field mapping, and system process designs.

Will be trained on Developing, testing and deploying integrations required to meet business requirements.

Must Track issues and risks, communicate status and escalate concerns to management.

Desire to be in a technical or techno-functional role

Experience preferred on one or more ERP implementation projects using SOA tools (SAP Net Weaver, Oracle Fusion, Workday Studio or other middleware platform).

Desire to learn web service technologies (REST, JSON, SOAP, HTTP, SSL, PGP, SAML, etc).

Knowledge of integration development to third party systems such ADP, LMS, ERP, Active Directory, and Concur Expense system etc. is necessary

Skills: The candidate will do a integration for Workday. Expecting the candidate to be familiar with Java, HTML, SOA architecture etc

Other Skills:

Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate with internal customers in a non-technical manner.

Must be able to work with and effectively communicate (listen, speak, present and write) to all levels of management and build working relationship with others outside of the Team.

Ability to organize, disseminate information efficiently and set expectations.

Thrive in an environment where you need to multi-task and work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work as a team member and contribute to the overall success of a team as well as work independently and handle multiple tasks.

Help shape team culture by being a team player, use IT methodology, suggest process improvements and developing internal tools to be more effective

Education: Bachelors or Masters degree with 2 years experience
