ASSOCIATE CONTRACTS MANAGER is needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in SUMMIT, NJ.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Under the direction of Associate Director, Legal Contracts, this individual will be responsible for facilitating the drafting and negotiation of agreements.
- As requested by internal clients, template agreements will be generated and the negotiation of non-template agreements for attorney review will be coordinated.
- Agreements include, but are not limited to, Confidentiality Agreements, Consulting Agreements, Service Agreements, Master Service Agreements, Software Licensing Agreements, and Master Manufacturing & Development Services Agreements.
- This individual will manage the contract process and work flow from requisition through execution of the agreement.
- A high volume of contracts requires the ability to meet deadlines.
- This individual will also be the main Legal contact for specific internal departments.
- Additionally, this individual will work closely with the Associate Director, Legal Contracts to develop and implement departmental processes and procedures, manage timelines and expectations, manage relationships with internal clients, and train new members of the Legal Contracts team.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, be a team player, and be willing to work in an environment where individual initiative and accountability to the team are required.
- Must be able to work with minimal day-to-day supervision.
- Facilitates the negotiation of agreements, terms and conditions
- Drafts documents following company templates, and under guidance, modifies templates as required
- Manages contract process and workflow (requisition through execution)
- Maintains contracts files and database
- Manages day-to-day activities
- Manage priorities/urgent requests
- Has input into team timelines and expectations
- Communicates and manages relationships with internal clients
- Participates in relationship management and issue resolution with clients
- Identifies issues and works with team members to solve problems and knows when to escalate to management
- Development and implementation of processes and procedures
- Contributes to best practices and identifies new best practices
- As a team member, represents service area

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BA/BS degree or equivalent
- Three (3) + years as a contract coordinator and two (2) + years in Pharma industry
- Proficient in contract terms and conditions
- Computer skills (MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to multi-task
- Ability to manage personal timelines and priorities, as well as team timelines and expectations
- Ability to collaborate with line functions
- Ability to utilize established relationships to achieve influence with others
- Ability to recognize and solve routine problems
- Attention to detail/analytical thinking
