Associate Business Analyst Job

ASSOCIATE BUSINESS ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Thousand Oaks, CA

THE BIG PICTURE- TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Experience in Project Management, Process Improvement, Analytical Mindset
- Experience of business processes in the pharmaceutical industry
- Computer knowledge/skills: Spotfire (version 5+), Microsoft applications: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Visio (versions 2010)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provide Project Management support for projects, ensuring status reporting, issue tracking and escalation
- Partner with IS to actively manage multiple projects and assignments through project deliverables, monitoring milestones, and identifying project risks and issues
- Practice Agile methodology for sprint planning and iterative releases
- Support analysis of metrics by understanding business requirements and how metrics are used for insights
- Participate on cross-functional teams to develop and define metrics/requirements
- Acquire/extract data from multiple sources, ensure quality
- Work with developers to visualize data through Spotfire, Excel, and other visualization tools used by the client
- Perform ad hoc analyses from various data sources, and present results to stakeholders; provide root cause analysis, as needed
- Collaborate with stakeholders for defining reports, scope, schedule, business rules, formulas, and algorithms
- Participate in collecting user story and gathering requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects
- Support implementation of these projects and solutions

- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills; ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines; proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities for reporting and predictive analytics
- Demonstrates urgency to achieve goals and deliver results; able to handle varying amounts of information, distill key points drawing practical conclusions translating into a strong business case and clear business requirements
- Excellent communication skills: oral, written, presentation, facilitation and interpersonal
