ASSOCIATE BRAND MANAGER

NUTRITIONALS + FOOD MARKETING + REGULATED CATEGORIES + SBM EXPERIENCE + STRATEGIC + COMMERCIAL SKILLS

Role: Senior Brand Manager/Group Brand Manager Nutritionals

Duration: 6 months +

Start: 1st July

- Ideally need someone with Nutritionals experience that can hit the ground running (food marketing and regulated categories and advantage but not essential.
- At least 2-3 years Senior Brand Manager Experience.
- Strong strategic and commercial skills.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and execute brand and market building strategies for assigned brands which deliver sustained business growth over five years by focusing on consumer and professional insight led strategic brand management and new product and new claim innovation.
- Lead creative development for the product with optimal media plans and execution to drive ROI for both consumer and professional campaigns.
- To develop and implement an effective annual operating plan for assigned products in line with strategic and corporate sales/profit objectives by the control of marketing activities.
- To effectively manage the assets of the business such that operational priorities are identified and control maintained to achieve agreed objectives and effective control is applied to A&P budgets within the limits of the operating plan.
- Collaborate with and influence enabling functions (sales, professional sales, customer marketing, and medical, regulatory, manufacturing, supply chain) to co-ordinate the marketing and sales activities to deliver brand strategic and operating plan initiatives.
- Influence and collaborate with external brand Franchise partner. To impact strategy, NPD and claims. Responsible for overall regional strategy that will be tailored by Belgium in additional to directly managed markets.
- Act as a coach and mentor to two direct reports and model a leadership style that ensures the recruitment, retention, high performance and development of marketing colleagues.
- Play a significant and influential role as a member of the UK Marketing Leadership Team, to contribute to the formulation and implementation of marketing practices and the strategic direction and operational objectives across the UK.
- Develop and maintain effective external relationships with key opinion leaders, agencies, customers and suppliers, as appropriate.
- Ensure all business practices are Company and country compliant and in line with Company Leader Behaviours and Values.
