Associate Analyst, Analytics

The Associate Analyst, Enterprise Analytics is responsible for working with other analysts to contribute to the development of analytical solutions (using internal, site and external data) to address business issues and collaborating to provide insight and recommendations based on the findings. The Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and analysing key metrics, and executing recurring analyses and reporting within the department.

Responsibilities

- Contribute to analytical solutions to address business needs and questions.
- Work with more senior analysts on the team and from time-to-time with internal business teams to provide analytics solutions or to produce ongoing, recurring reports and analyses.
- Contribute to ad-hoc or project data analysis.
- Contribute to analytics projects of varying size and complexity.
- Handle data preparation and data analysis portions of various projects.
- Write, maintain and/or update queries (SQL, SAS) to develop analyses in response to queries from internal customers.
- Ensure accuracy of results produced as a result of data analysis.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Demonstrated analytical skills with basic understanding of statistics.
- Understanding of business analysis principles.
- Familiarity with multiple data sources including Oracle, flat data files, and web-based interfaces.
- Minimum 1 year experience or 2 internships with demonstrated ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Working knowledge of SAS, SQL, and MS Office Suite of Products to include: Excel (Advanced-level skills) and Visio.
- Project Management skills or background a plus, contributing to ability to work on multiple analytics projects and deliverables at the same time and work effectively in a team environment.
- B.A. or B.S in Mathematics, Statistics, Research, Engineering, Computer Science or Business.
