Assistant Vice President Java Developer A world leading financial services provider is urgently seeking an AVP Java Developer to work on a team of elite developers. As the AVP Java Developer you will work on developing post trade foreign exchange platforms for 19 of the 20 largest asset management companies. This position is seeking a full stack Java developer to wok on all aspects of web based applications as part of a fast paced, agile, very senior level team. The primary focus of the AVP Java Developer will be developing enhancement to an industry leading Foreign Exchange system. These systems serve global trading partners execution of large currency trades. Technical Qualifications: * Experience developing server side Java code for web applications in anEnterpriseenvironment utilizing a popular J2EE application server * Experience developing browser based client side code using web technologies HTML, CSS, Struts, JSP,AJAX, and especially working with JavaScript * Experience with database development including SQL and ORM tools like Hibernate * Minimum 7 to 10 years of developing software * Financial service domain knowledge a plus This is an exciting and intellectually challenging opportunity to join a cutting edge technology team on highly utilized products in a very desirable work environment.
