My client, a market leading financial services organisation is looking for an ASSISTANT VENDOR MANAGER to join their institution on an interim basis.

RATE: £300-£350 per day
Location: HALIFAX
START: ASAP
DURATION: 6 months

Key Purpose/Accountabilities of the Role:

Support the Supplier Management team in the reporting and management of risk events, putting in place corrective and preventative actions where necessary.
Provide a robust risk and control framework in which to manage Supplier services provided to HR, ensuring oversight and assurance activities are completed in line with control/governance framework.
To monitor and maintain a calendar of assurance activities, undertaking ongoing checks to ensure compliance to Contract and LBG Policies.
Undertake in-flight and retrospective checks on supplier high risk processes to ensure adherence to process/policy.
Maintain and update a suite of online controls and test plans ensuring these are actioned appropriately within the prescribed timescales.
Identify gaps or weaknesses in processes, where controls have not operated as expected, ensuring oversight and controls are strengthened following root cause analysis.
