Assistant Team Manager - Access to Resources

Our client has a job vacancy for an Assistant Team Manager to work within an Access to Resources Team based in Merton. This vacancy has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is £28.46 per hour (limited company worker).

Requirements:
Have you got a social work degree or equivalent?
Are you HCPC registered?
Do you have at least 2 years recent post qualified experience working within Children's Services in the UK?
Do you have knowledge and understanding of good quality commissioning practice?
Do you have knowledge of equality and diversity practice and the capability to apply it to work with vulnerable children, young people and their families?
Do you have knowledge of the underlying causes of vulnerability and aspects of effective safeguarding of vulnerable children and their families?

If you fit these requirements then you could be the ideal candidate.

Duties:
- You will be ensuring vulnerable children and their families and/or carers receive high quality and responsive service.
- You will be assisting the team manager in the supervision and support of staff in the day to day delivery of services.
- You will be supervising and consulting on caseloads and contribute to the development of colleagues.
- You will be helping to prevent children and young people being taken into care.
- You will be supporting positive parenting, preventing harm and promoting children's life chances.
- You will be supervising, supporting and monitoring direct reports.
