Assistant Reporting Accountant

Assistant Reporting Accountant, Egham, £30,000-£34,000 (4 month contract)

An employer of choice in the Egham area are currently looking for an assistant reporting accountant to assist with backlog.

Reporting into the reporting manager, duties include:
Assist in the production of the monthly and quarterly Underwriting reports for internal reporting to UK/US.
Prepare and reconcile Motor Monthly Production & Fee Report.
Prepare profit share payments and accruals on a monthly basis and ensure these are accurate and correctly reflected in the ledgers.
Producing commission reports on a monthly basis and ensure that these are paid in accordance with contractual obligations.
Assist with the production of monthly client reports.
Ensure interfacing to the financial systems is reconciled on a daily basis and subsequent checking of system-based reports agrees with financial reports.
Liaise with System Department on any system requirements and developments, as necessary.
Assist in the production of balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process.
Assist in the compilation of quarterly IPT returns to HMCE and ensure these are accurate, correctly reflected in the ledgers and paid on time.
Produce the necessary SOX control reports on a monthly basis and ensure these are completed within the required deadlines.
Assist in ongoing projects required by the business
