Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Are you an aspiring junior/assistant quantity surveyor, looking to progress your career with an enviable main social housing contractor?

With work contracts in a variety of locations and frameworks, my client is a company well placed to offer a talented assistant quantity surveyor the platform on which to tangibly progress their career.

You will be responsible for working alongside a commercial team on projects worth multi-millions of pounds in value, and as such, it is desirable that you will have previously contributed to large scale main contractor projects. You will be expected to carry out the full surveying duties for the company with regards to the critical role of managing costs, and in identifying money making, and saving opportunities. You will be a flexible, personable and professional individual driven by a desire to succeed, and with the ability to work on your own initiative.

The role is to work for 12 months (initially) on a new build social housing project in Nottingham, but with sites available in Leeds and other Yorkshire regions, it would be advantageous to be commutable to all locations. As such, any new build social housing would be a huge advantage!
