Assistant Manager - Report & Accounts Development

PURPOSE OF YOUR ROLE

In this role the jobholder will work with a team of UK fund accountants to design and build automation into their processes for producing UK fund report & accounts. This must be done within an over-riding objective of ensuring as much commonality of process as possible between report & account production in the UK and Luxembourg fund accounting teams.

YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Analysis and documentation of the business processes to produce annual and semi-annual fund report and accounts to enable process improvement and re-engineering
- Identify and deliver successful automation to increase productivity and efficiency of the process by developing database and spreadsheet solutions.
- Design and develop the solutions in a consistent manner with the framework for tactical solution development as managed by the UK Process Improvement team.
- Produce user documentation and support documentation for the delivered solution.
- Train users to use del ivered solution(s).
- Train the team that will provide on-going support for the del ivered solution(s)

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- The candidate will have a proven track record in del ivering automated solutions to support complex business processes. A knowledge of accounting and/or investment management is an advantage.

- Development experience using Excel, Access, SQL and VB.NET.
