My client, a large financial services organisation is looking for a Assistant Manager to support the Financial Accounting Manager in ensuring that system of financial discipline are maintained to the highest professional standards expected. Working alongside the manager to effectively manage Payroll, Accounts payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury & Reconciliation of the Loan Book.

Key Accountabilities:
*Ensure systems and procedures are in place to allow all statutory and regulatory requirements to be met on time and to agreed standards
*Ensure systems and procedures remain compliant with Government requirements
*Support, develop and implement robust financial systems to support business operations.
*Ensure cash balances are maintained in accordance with agreed strategy

Essential Qualifications/Requirements:
*Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CA, CIMA or CIPFA)
*Experience evidenced in similar role
*Previous management experience preferred.
*Experience of Oracle Financials essential, high level of IT literacy
