Job Title: Assistant Finance Manager

A temporary contact opportunity has arisen for a manager required for the Financial Statements Team within Finance Business Services; the team is responsible for the preparation of the annual financial statements of approximately 260 Lloyds Banking Group subsidiaries (and, following from this, the conversion of financial statements to iXBRL format for submission to HMRC). This role will support the team by taking a lead in the financial statements planning, preparation, review and sign off process, with key responsibility for final deliverables.
The opportunity would suit a motivated individual, capable of working proactively taking a leading role within a team, who is organised and takes ownership for their deliverables and has good coaching, motivating and feedback skills. Applicants should be proficient in the use of MS Office applications and be confident and authoritative in their knowledge of accounting disclosures (eg including IFRS knowledge).
The successful candidate will be accountancy qualified (eg ACA) with post qualification experience, have previous experience/awareness of the Companies Act accounts process (including financial statements audit and/or delivery).
