My client is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to assist and support the provision of a comprehensive financial and management accounting service to the business areas.

They will support the provision of consolidated results of business plans, results and forecasts. The successful candidate will assist in the analysis of periodic financial performance of individual business units against objectives.

This will be done whilst working towards an accountancy qualification so the client is looking for a committed individual who is very keen and enthusiastic. They will have to prepare and distribute appropriate financial reports to budget holders to support financial control and aid performance management and target achievement. This will be done whilst assisting in the provision of investment/project accounting services as required.

Essential Skills Required:
-Good knowledge of current accounting standards
-Advanced Excel skills
-Commitment to working towards an accountancy qualification

Desired Skills:
-Previous experience in management accounting role
-Financial management systems experience
