Assistant Management Accountant

ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT/FINANCE ANALYST

Currently seeking 2 x Assistant Management Accountants to join our established client in the Blackburn area.

Looking to bring on two Assistant Management Accountants ASAP. Considering both permanent and contract options.

Permanent Salary: £18-23k (dependant on experience)

Contract: TBC (3-6 months)

As the successful Assistant Management Account/Finance Analyst you will;

- Have previous experience in a finance/accounting role
- Be part CIMA or ACCA qualified
- Have advanced Excel skills
- Have the ability to work to strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Be able to work to a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail at all times

The following would be desirable (but NOT necessary);

- Experience using Sage Line 500
- TM1 Experience

As the successful Assistant Management Account/Finance Analyst you will be responsible for;

- Assisting in the production of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet & cashflow statements
- Overhead Analysis & Reporting - Margin & Commercial Analysis
- Analysis of monthly costs & investigation of variances to budget/forecast
- Ad-hoc analysis as required
- Deputise in the absence of the Management Accountant
- Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
