Assistant Management Accountant

We are currently looking for a bright, ambitious and enthusiastic individual to join the finance team of our recruitment group to report in to the Financial Controller.

In the role of Assistant Management Accountant you will be tasked with:
*Management information reporting:
*Reconcile and maintain balance sheet schedules:
*P&L accounts preparation:
*Sales ledger control reconciliations:
*Commissions calculations:
*Posting of journal entries onto Sage 200:

Ideally you will be Part Qualified Accountant from a recognised Accountancy body or AAT and you will need to be experienced with Sage accounting software, ideally Sage Line 200 and you should be familiar working in a multi-business unit environment. You will need to demonstrate a solid understanding of Double entry book-keeping and good knowledge of Excel spreadsheets.

It would be beneficial if you had knowledge of Payroll/Billing software (Merit) used in a recruitment environment and a Recruitment industry or Professional services background would be advantageous.

Beyond the above you will need to show you have an analytical mind and a methodical approach to work. You must have excellent attention to detail and accuracy and be quick to learn. You will need to have excellent communication skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships across the business and a "can-do" attitude, with the ability to work well within a team environment.
