My client is looking for a strong Assistant Management Accountant to come on board ASAP in an exciting new opportunity. This is an excellent role for a part qualified accountant with an AAT qualification, studying for a CIMA one, or alternatively educated to University. The Body of the role is to support the finance team in the preparation of month end reporting for distribution variable and fixed costs for reviews with the Management Accountant and Financial Controller. Also assist with the preparation of annual budgets and periodic re-forcasting as required for distribution costs. Another key function of the role will be to develop, maintain and improve cost reporting to allow for best possible decision making particularly for variable labour. The right person for this role will be able to use their own initiative and work independently. They should have the confidence to cover meetings in the absence of the management Accountant.
