My Bristol based client is looking for a CIPD Assistant HR Consultant/Public Sector CIPD Assistant HR Consultant.

Breif overview of the CIPD Assistant HR Consultant/Public Sector CIPD Assistant HR Consultant role:

*Support in the design of roles - job descriptions/person specifications/job evaluation reports/competencies
*Work with resourcing partners (DRG) to design assessment events
*Participate in assessment/development centres

The CIPD Assistant HR Consultant/Public Sector CIPD Assistant HR Consultant will be responsible for:
*Support the HR Business Consultants in developing HR solutions to meet people needs ensuring engagement with appropriate stakeholders particularly for a key transformational project. This will involve job design, resourcing plans & activities, including supporting the development of and membership of development and assessment centres.
*Support large-scale change, promoting cultural change needed to successfully deliver HR business solutions.
*Coach Managers to lead and manage the change agenda by improving the people capabilities of their teams.
*Provide guidance and knowledge of the HR Functional areas, providing quality help and support to the wider HR team and the business.
*Support the development and monitoring of the employee engagement strategy.
*Carry out research in support of the Business Consultants and produce first drafts of papers with proposals for HR interventions

Skills needed for the CIPD Assistant HR Consultant/Public Sector CIPD Assistant HR Consultant:
*CIPD
*Understanding of HR best practice, processes and associated legislation, with a particular emphasis on resourcing, organisation design and learning able to start developing appropriate solutions;
*Experience of identifying and engaging with stakeholders, managing their expectations and balancing their competing needs;
*Experience in delivering HR plans, processes and solutions to support significant organisational change
