Assistant HR Advisor sought by our Public Sector client for an initial 3months + contract.

As Assistant HR Advisor you will be support HR and L&D partner to provide first level HR advice to operational management teams.

As Assistant HR Advisor you will provide best practice advice, guidance and coaching to Managers and Staff on all HR issues. This will include Employment Law, organisation specific legislation, and performance management, workforce planning and similar.

In addition you will support change programmes, reporting and recording of personal changes, succession planning and maintaining forecasting data. In addition as Assistant HR Advisor you will liaise with national union officials, local union and association networks.

To be successful as Assistant HR Advisor you will have sound analytical and problem solving skills, be comfortable dealing with employment related data and have a high degree of computer literacy. You will be capable and comfortable communicating with a wide range of staff across different levels and functions either verbally, through presentations or in writing.

You will be a strong team member and be able to work well across all levels of the HR function. As Assistant HR Advisor you will have a board and developed understanding of HR processes and procedures, good organisational skills and a professional commitment to all matters of equality and diversity.

You will have previous experience in a similar role and ideally be studying towards a CIPD qualification.
