Assistant Financial Accountant

Assistant Financial Accountant Role with FTSE100 leading defence company, based in Scotstoun 4 Months contract, up to £21.30ph

A great opportunity to join a leading defence organisations' financial planning The Assistant Financial Accountant would report to Senior Financial Accountant and be integral to Financial Reporting and planning functions.

An overview of these duties would be:
*An overview of these duties would be
*Daily maintenance and updating of Cashbook
*Preparing Cashbook weekly journals for input to Coda Financials
*Weekly detailed short term Cash Forecasting, including coordinating inputs from Projects and Central Finance.
*Short term Cash Forecasting variance analysis.
*Monthly, Cash Forecasting for the following 12 months, including variance analysis.
*Monthly reconciliation of a number of General Ledger accounts.
*Control of Agency Labour, including weekly maintenance of subcontractor details and monthly preparation of Agency Labour accrual.
*Reconciliation of the Agency Labour accrual with the amounts paid.
Due to the nature of the role candidates will need to be security clearable.
