I am looking to hire a ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGER for one of my Public Sector Client. Please read the below job Specification

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Start date 04/01/16

KEY TASKS AND DELIVERABLES

The post holders will undertake work on the Department's consolidated group account, primarily on the Agreement of Balances process.

This is a key priority in achieving the Group Financial Management Divisional objective of producing an unqualified account pre-recess.

The work will directly contribute to this and the temporary staff members will work primarily on the Agreement of Balances process to ensure that the mismatches are kept to a minimum, and will work to resolve any issues.

This will involve working on Finance systems, Excel and dealing with issues from other Group Bodies.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Has practical experience in one or more area of management accounting, cost analysis, planning and budgeting, financial accounting or the preparation of statutory accounts. Experience of working in a financial accounting role or of Government accounting an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally) with staff and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong team working skills.
- Competent IT skills (specifically Intermediate Level Excel, experience in business systems).
- Good organisational skills and a proven ability to plan and manage competing priorities.
- Minimum of part-Qualified CCAB or CIMA or full AAT member or trainee accountants with relevant financial experience.
